SGM's Shred Shop Post date: Mon Oct 12, 2009 12:48 pm
Ever since I did a commission job for Rogue, he has badgered me to start a trading thread for modding work. I now really need money, so I am doing just that. This post will grow over the next few days as I get it polished. I promised Rogue that I'd have a thread by now, so I am making just that. For right now, I am going to post a few pics of past work. These include things built for others and for myself. This picture is when it is unpainted. I will get a new picture in here soon. My favorite guns to work with are Longshots, but I will try my hand at most anything. If you have a gun that I can't get ahold of, you can send it to me to be modded. If I can get it in stores, I will pick it up there and mod it, then send it to you. My prices aren't going to be the cheapest, most likely, but my work is top-notch, and many people can attest to this. If you are interested in a project, send me a pm with what you'd be interested in and what you're willing to pay. If your proposed price is in ballpark, I will work with you. If you give me an offer like $20 for an RFSG wooden stock, I will flat out tell you no. The only gun that I will not modify are RFSGs. I WILL make wooden stocks and metal/wood priming mechs, but I WON'T do anything else. Angel is a good friend of mine, and I am not going to go against his wishes by building anyone a Doomsayer-type gun. Again, look for this thread to get additions and subtractions over the course of the next few days.

That spacer plate in the first pic was made for me, and it was great! If only PETG worked with my Doomsayer....

Thanks for the good words, guys. Lt., I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I know it isn't my fault, but it still sucks.

I now have infinite respect for both you, and your bug life avatar on NH.

I can vouch for the BBB. It was a good first gun for me when I was a new Nerfer and then SGM took it to the next level with addition of the magazine. I can't wait to see what else he is going to come up with next. So, if I were you and I needed something modded (which I do because I cannot mod to save my life), I would invest in his services if you want something that is at the top-notch of modding standards.

Thanks. It looks even better now. There may be a newer pic of it somewhere here or on NH. Also, thanks for the free bump.

From what I see SGM's work is fantastic. Also did you use bondo on the lancer?

Thanks. There is a whole list of what I did do make the lancer in a thread on NH. I did use lots of Bondo on it.

Just gotta love the lancer. If I had money I'd see if you could make something from Borderlands... But, some other time.
